Crossbeam – 39 Direct Hire Placements
My third major client since incorporating. This relationship was earned via my prior success with former clients from various 90’s networking/telecom organizations. We were directly involved in HR/hiring sessions, worked directly with the founder and executive leadership team. I offered discounted fees for a partial exclusive relationship that worked out great for both parties for many years. We also met one of our longest, most valued HR Managers. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, Diagnostics and SQA & Test). Fee totals reached the $550K mark in addition to $250K in contractor revenue.
Dell/Equallogic – 11 Direct Hire Placements
This relationship only lasted a year or so as Dell acquired Equallogic and went a different direction with staffing strategies. We put together an amazing group of highly talented heavy hitter software engineers & architects in a very short period of time.
Fee totals reached the $300K mark.
Empirix – 52 Direct Hire Placements
My second major client since incorporating. This relationship was earned via my prior success with former clients from various 90’s networking/telecom organizations. We worked with three of the best Directors/VPs of Engineering combos’ we ever had—lifetime. I offered discounted fees for a partial exclusive relationship that worked out great for both parties for many years. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, Diagnostics and SQA & Test). Fee totals reached the $700K mark.
BioRad – 26 Direct Hire Placements
Our BioRad success started with startup GnuBio, which BioRad eventually acquired. This was one of our first successful biotechnology clients. Our placements were split between both organizations. Our success was fueled by our solid connections in HR. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, Diagnostics, DevOps and SQA & Test). Fee totals reached the $600K mark in addition to $200K in contractor revenue.
Nasuni – 15 Direct Hire Placements
We were there from the beginning with another startup. I had made a solid impression with Nasuni’s co-founder at a previous organization. He brought us in and we went to work. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, SQA & IT). Fee totals reached the $300K mark in addition to $225K in contractor revenue
Rethink Robotics – 40 Direct Hire Placements
Our highest-grossing client in Corsair history. We were there from the beginning at this startup. Our relationship was born from an exceptional connection with one of Rethink’s co-founders and one of our most cherished relationships. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, SQA, Mechancial, Manufacturing, Test and Management). Fee totals reached the $850K mark in addition to $900K in contractor revenue
Smith & Nephew – 14 Direct Hire Placements
Another early medical device client for Corsair. We found a niche need in hardware engineering, ran with it and that blossomed into a multi-year relationship. We had excellent communication with corporate HR and Engineering Leadership. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, SQA, Mechanical, Quality & Documentation). Fee totals reached the $300K mark in addition to $700K in contractor revenue
LumiraDx – 29 Direct Hire Placements
We had an outstanding relationship at all levels within LumiraDx, including their European-based HR group along with some great local Engineering Directors. We were a major contributor to this organization doubling in size over a very short period of time. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, SQA, DevOps, Mechanical, Quality & Technicians). Fee totals reached the $650K mark.

Once again we were here from the beginning with this startup. We were brought in from our work at a former client.
We had a fantastic relationship with both co-founders. ClearSky had high expectations from a hiring standpoint and we delivered. It was a short run, but we put together a great group of talented hires. Our placements were all within Engineering (Software, SQA, DevOps). Fee totals reached the $400K mark
ThinkEngine Networks – 11 Contract Placements
My first major client (startup) since incorporating. This was one of the most talented teams I put together. I had a great relationship with the Owner & VP of Engineering. My placements were all within Engineering (Software, Hardware, Architecture, Diagnostics SQA & Release Engineering). Consulting revenue reached the $1.1M mark.
